Easy Care Guide

Sheepskins are easy to maintain, as they are naturally dirt- and stain-resistant, and therefore do not require regular cleaning.

We recommend that you frequently shake and air your sheepskin and brush it with a soft brush to restore its full and fluffy appearance and lustre.

Important: On receipt of your product, you may notice a distinctive lanolin fragrance, which is due to the natural oils in the sheepskin. This odour can be intensified after being confined for extended periods in packaging. Airing the product after unpacking it should reduce any residual odours.

Note: Our Mongolian Sheepskin product should not be washed or dry-cleaned as this will damage the natural crimp of the wool fibre.

What age are your footmuffs suitable for?

Our footmuffs are suitable from 6 months plus to toddler (approx 36 months), offering cosy comfort through the early years. The spacious design allows room to grow, so it lasts well beyond the first few months.

How do I clean a sheepskin footmuff?

Sheepskin is naturally dirt-resistant and easy to maintain. Simply shake out, spot clean with a damp cloth, and air out regularly. For deeper cleans, use a specialist wool detergent and follow our care instructions.

Best product - highly recommended!

I was trying to find a lamsbwool liner for winter that fits into the Yoyo and the pram and I found it! As winter days in Melbourne can be ugly and cold but also sunny and warm, sheepskin is the best option. With the zipper I just open it on warmer days, but our son is nice and warm on colder days as well! It’s just perfect.

As it’s my 3rd baby I tried lots of different products and believe me - this is one of the best!

I also love the fact that the business is run by a family or mum - she knows what she is doing designing awesome products. Nicole also answeredy questions right away - thank you so much for everything! It’s constantly in use and I am super happy with this decision

I was finding trying to keep blankets on my 8 month old daughter challenging duing our walks she kept kicking them off until I discovered Footmuffs! I found Naturally Sheepskins after searching through so many different brands. I absolutely love it! It's so warm, I don't have to rug her up in layers anymore and it's perfect for winter walks in Bathurst. Fits our Upperbaby V2 perfectly. I also love that it can double as a mat in the park. Well worth the investment
